OCTOBER 2025 Goalkeeper Holiday Camps – Mixed

Objective: Specialised training for aspiring goalkeepers.

What to Expect

• A full day dedicated to goalkeeping skills: handling, diving, positioning, and distribution
• Interactive drills, competitive challenges, and real-game practice
• Final block of the day combines with the regular camp players for matches and a tournament.

Target Group

• Boys and girls aged 8–13
• Suitable for beginners trying out goalkeeping or experienced keepers wanting to sharpen their skills
• Goalkeeper coach will adapt activities and split into groups based on ability/experience.

Structure of the Day

• 9:00am – 3:00pm program
• The day is split into three blocks:
  1. Goalkeeping fundamentals
  2. Shot-stopping drills and games
  3. Game scenarios with participants from the regular camp
• Includes a morning tea break and a lunch break, with the club canteen open on premises
• Preorders of lunch and snacks available during sign ins.

Camp Details
Where: Rozelle Parklands Sporting Fields (Rectangular Field)
Week 1: Thursday 2nd October
Week 2: Tuesday 7th and Thursday 9th October
Times: 9:00am – 3:00pm (Sign-in from 8.30am. Sign-out closes at 3.30pm.)
Cost: $90 per day

What to Bring:

• Hat
• Sunblock
• Your own lunch OR money to purchase lunch at the canteen
• Football boots, shin pads, and long socks
• A refillable water bottle
• Appropriate sports clothes, including a wet weather jacket, and spare clothing in case of severe weather
• Great positive and fun attitude.

Using your Active and Creative Kids Voucher:

We accept Active and Creative Kids Vouchers (ACKV) and they can be applied during the registration process. If you are unable to apply it or have any issues please contact us at holidaycamps@balmainfootball.com.au.

Claiming a sibling discount?

A School Holiday Camp discount is available for two or more siblings attending three or more days in the same week and type of any Holiday Camp.  The discount is $30 per Holiday Camp (not per day) for the second and subsequent siblings.  Please enter the details of each child attending the Holiday Camp.

October 2025 Holiday Camp – Intensive Development Camp

Objective: High-performance training for motivated players eager to work on developing their skills.

What to Expect

• Two-hour focused session tailored to improve your core skills in football
• The main emphasis will be on repetition of individual core skills with attention to detail
• Players can expect to repeat drills under different scenarios to build confidence and consistency
• Sessions are designed as training sessions, not games, replicating a high-performance environment.

Expectations & Approach

• Groups will be organised by skill level, not friendships, to ensure every player is challenged appropriately
• Coaches will expect players to train with focus, discipline, and intensity
• Players should be ready to accept feedback and corrections to improve technique.

What We Expect From Players

• A strong work ethic and willingness to train with intensity
• Commitment to stay engaged and respectful to teammates
• An open mindset to learning, even when pushed outside their comfort zone.

Target Group

• Boys and girls aged 12-16
• Best suited for players in Division 1 and 2 teams or those in the Development Program
• Perfect for players who are committed, motivated, and looking for a good training session during the holidays.

Structure of the Day

• 2 hour sessions (timeslots vary)
• No access to canteen facilities
• One short break midway through
• Entire focus is on repetition and football skills.

Where: Waterfront Drive Sporting Ground
Week 1: Tuesday 30th September, Wednesday 1st October, and Thursday 2nd October
Week 2: Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th, Thursday 9th October
Groups: U12-U13 MIXED, U14-U16 MIXED
Times: 9am – 11am (U12-U13), 11:30am – 1:30pm (U14-U16)
Cost: $45 per session

Please note that players must sign in and out on every day they attend. Places are limited.

Registration:

Registration for the camps is done through the nominated system, click on the link below to register. Sibling discounts for the same three days of camp are available by completing the rebate request below (to be submitted only after full payment has been completed). Registration are complete once paid. We will send an email close to the camp date confirming the days and reminding you of the details.

Please note that ALL participants mut be fully registered prior to attending Holiday Camp. Due to insurance and liability requirements, we cannot accept walk-ups on the day.
