What is MiniRoos Kick-Off?
MiniRoos Kick-Off is an introductory program designed for beginning and developing players who are new to the game (aged 4-8 years old). The nation-wide initiative uses short, game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Westfield Matildas. You can sign up with your friend or alone, no equipment needed.
What to Expect:
- Qualified coaches who will facilitate modified games and activities to spark the love of football!
- MiniRoos Kick-Off programs typically run for 5-8 weeks for 45 minutes per session.
- New participants receive a participant pack including a MiniRoos t-shirt, football, and certificate as part of their registration fee.
- All registered participants receive personal accident insurance as part of their registration fee.

This fun, social and engaging program provides an alternate option for girls who may not want to participate in a mixed-gender program, as well as the opportunity to choose their football experience. The nation-wide initiative uses short, game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Westfield Matildas.
